Why Ile de Ré?
A gem of an island just off the west coast from La Rochelle, sprinkled with French class. Lovely sandy beaches, charming harbour towns and character villages are all connected by an extensive network of cycle trails which run across vineyards, fields, salt-marshes and woodland. There is something for everyone: markets, boutiques & restaurants; food halls; fabulous beaches for lounging or keeping active, including sailing, surfing, paddle-boarding, kite-surfing.

Vila La Touche is a stylishly furnished, throughtfully designed home, making the most of the light and living space inside and out, arranged in an L-shape around the large pool terrace.
Ground floor:
Downstairs is a large, open-plan living room with sitting/reading/TV corner at one end, dining area in the middle and contemporary kitchen at the other, all opening on to the walled terrace outside.
Off the living room is the generous master bedroom (160cm double bed), which also opens on to the terrace, with its spacious en suite comprising bath, separate walk-in shower and WC.
Upstairs:
Open tread stairs lead up to the first floor with:
- Second double bedroom (160 cm bed)
- twin bedroom (2x 90 cm beds)
- Shared bathroom with shower
- Separate WC
Outside:
Outside is a spacious, fully-tiled pool terrace with 6.5m x 3m heated pool (protected by hard cover), outdoor dining table & chairs (for 6), comfortable seating area, pool shower, 3 sun loungers plus 2 deck-chairs. There is a small grassy area on the other side of the house.
There is off-street parking for 2 cars.
