Why La Couarde & Ile de Ré?
It's one of the loveliest vilages on the island's south coast, because of its attractive boutiques, distinctively-painted cottages and excellent family-friendly sandy beaches. Its central location on the island means exploring the rest of the island's charming villages, beaches, oyster huts & salt marshes is a doddle, especially on two wheels!
Accommodation
Brand new, hig-spec walk to beach villa with pool - gorgeous!
New (built in 2021), 160m² villa with a large living room/dining room, contemporary kitchen, 4 bedrooms including 2 en-suite, plus a shared shower room, 3 toilets.
Downstairs:
- Spacious living room (35m2), opening onto the terrace and the swimming pool, with a sitting/TV area and fully-equipped open-plan kitchen with a central island.
- Dining room with table seating 6 opening onto a small wooden terrace equipped with a barbecue
Upstairs:
4 bedrooms and 3 shower rooms and 2 toilets.
- Bedroom 1 (master), a very good size (17.5 m2) and equipped with a 160cm double bed, ensuite shower room and toilet. This room offers a view of the swimming pool with its large bay window.
- Bedroom 2: a second en-suite bedroom 13.2m2 with 160cm double bed, its own bathroom and an office, equipped for teleworking (fiber access).
- Bedroom 3: a third double 12.2m2 with 160cm double bed
- Bedroom 4: childen's bedroom 12.4m2 with 2 single beds 90cm each
- Bedrooms 3 & 4 share a 3rd bathroom with shower, and separate WC.
Outside:
Outside is a lovely large pool terrace, with comfortable sitting and dining areas which can be shaded by a large retractable awning, overlooking the 9m x 3m heated pool.
The pool is heated May to September, and proected by an electric rolling cover.
Adjacent to the pool is a pétanque court, perfect for relaxation (or competition!) at apéritif time.
To the side of the house is an area of lawn and another terrace where the BBQ is located (outside the dining room).
This property is entirely enclosed. There is a courtyard for storing bikes plus parking for two cars, one in the garage (also has space for beach equipment), another on the drive.
