'Beaufleury' is a beautiful, character property that Francophiles will adore.
Constructed in 1900 the house has been entirely renovated but with its original features retained. Original doors and windows, stone and parquet floors, high ceilings and generously-sized rooms - Beaufleury oozes authenticity and charm.
The property is a family home, lived in by its owners for 10 months of the year and therefore comes very well-equipped throughout .
Ground Floor:
A spiral staircase leads from the living room to the first floor.
First Floor:
All bedrooms and bathrooms are to be found on the first floor and feature original wood floors, windows and doors. The decor is tasteful and very much in keeping with with style of the house.
Family bathroom shared by Bedrooms 2 and 4 includes roll-top bathtub, separate shower & WC.
Outside
Just a reminder that the owners (Julie, her husband Pete, their son plus their pet cats & dogs) take up residence in the small barn on the grounds. This space is entirely private and guests have exclusive use of the pool and gardens. Julie is on hand for advice on local places to eat and visit as well as any maintenance queries that may crop up during your stay. Guests who have stayed here before have really appreciated Julie's assistance.

St Jean de Marsacq is a small village in the Sud Landes countryside of south west France, less than half an hour to the famous beaches of Hossegor and 40 minutes drive to Biarritz. Beaufleury is situated in a semi-rural residential setting with the excellent village shop / boulangerie less than 5 minutes on foot - it's a bit further to the square for the village restaurant. This area of France is famous for its long sandy beaches, pine forests and quiet countryside. It's a fantastic base to explore the area - Biarritz, St Jean de Luz, the Basque Country and Pyrenees. Also, in less than an hour you can cross the border into Spain (San Sebastian and Bilbao are recommended).

Product: Truly became home from home - extremely comfortable accomodation with everything you could possibly need. Fabulous location from which to explore the many delights of Acquitaine or simply chill by the pool. Great patisserie/shop round the corner for breakfast and top ups. Owners very friendly and happy to give excellent recommendations for things to do/places to eat and always available to help if required.
