- Toddlers - OK: the grounds are superb for young kids but parents need to be comfortable with the villa's luxury furnishings
- Teenagers - Good: short drive to the coast and its cafes, shops and beaches. Wifi in the property
- Reduced mobility - Not recommended: the bedrooms are on the first and lower floors with staircase to both

WHY THE BASQUE COAST?
Enjoy the pretty & cherished coastal villages of Bidart and Guéthary. Bidart has two fantastic beaches – Uhabia and Plage du Centre – a very pretty village square, coastal walks and a selection of restaurants.Guéthary has a pretty harbour with small sandy beach, restaurants & bars; charming village centre with a handful of restaurant/bars & boutiques plus a handy train station too. These two villages lie between their two famous neighbours, Biarritz and St Jean de Luz, both are beautiful seaside towns with fabulous beaches, shopping and restaurants.

Villa du Fronton is situated in a sought-after residential area just inland from Guethary & Bidart – two Basque Coast gems sandwiched between their more illustrious neighbours Biarritz and St Jean de Luz. The villa's location enjoys the best of both worlds; it's a peaceful & private semi-rural location yet just minutes from the buzz of this vibrant coastline. There's a small cluster of villas in the neighbourhood but it's very secluded here; you can sit in privacy on the terrace or by the pool and enjoy the mountain views too. The location is very convenient too. The local seaside village of Bidart (8min drive, 4km) has two fantastic beaches – Uhabia and Plage du Centre – as well as a very pretty village square, coastal walks and several restaurants. Additionally, the villa is in easy reach of La Cote Basque's other resorts (Guethary, St Jean de Luz & Biarritz), the Pyrenees, interior Basque Country and Spain too.
