More Reasons to Visit Aquitaine
Not everyone who books their trip to Aquitaine with us is taking a traditional, family summer holiday.
There are many reasons to visit Aquitaine throughout the year. There are regular events and festivals including the world's biggest wine fair (VinExpo Bordeaux - June); a surfing competition on the World professional circuit (Quiksilver Surf Pro - September), European Championship rugby (Heineken Cup in Biarritz); and motor-racing (Pau Classic Grand Prix - May).
Or you may just fancy a short-break playing golf in Biarritz, surfing in Hossegor, skiing in the Pyrenees, learning to cook in Les Landes or celebrating a milestone birthday in an Aquitaine manoir.
At some of the properties on our website, it is possible to book short-breaks in the mid and low seasons. Some examples are given below and you can always contact us for more information. Similary, long-stay lets are sometimes possible at special rates at selected properties; this is useful for anyone house-hunting in the area, for example.
Please note that activity tuition such as cookery courses or surfing lessons, are booked and paid for directly with the suppliers of those activities. They are suppliers who we've worked with over the years and we will of course put you directly in touch with them.
